Authority Zero est un groupe de punk rock de Mesa, en Arizona. Le groupe a des influences skate punk et de reggae. Les plus grandes influences du groupe sont: Bad Religion, Pennywise et Sublime. Ils ont aussi des influences espagnoles/portugaises dans la musique du groupe.Histoire du groupe [modifier]
Le groupe est née lors de la rencontre de Bill Marcks et Jason DeVore à l'école secondaire de
Westwood. Marcks a été impressionné de la capacité de DeVore à écrire des chansons entraînantes en moins de quinze minutes avec les refrains accrocheurs. Les deux amis ont rapidement choisis Jeremy Woods pour la jouer de la basse (Woods a aussi montré Marcks comment jouer de la guitare). Bill, Jason et Jeremy ont finalement été à Los Angeles (ville native de Jim Wilcox) pour completer la formation.
Après avoir enregistré un EP local qui se vendit très bien, Authority Zero lanca alors leur premier album A Passage In Time en 2002 sur le label Lava Records. L'album comprend alors des chansons punk rock et reggae avec des influences espagnoles et portugaises. A Passage In Time comprend les succès "One More Minute" et "Over Seasons".
Le succès de A Passage In Time a projeté le groupe dans une popularité. Authority Zero ont participé à plusieurs grandes tournées. Tels que: Le Vans Warped Tour, la tournée de No Use For A Name/Starting Line et la tournée "Sum On Your Face" de Sum 41. Le groupe a aussi participé à des nombreuses tournées de groupes comme Everclear, Guttermouth et H2O.
En 2004, Authority Zero ont sorti Andiamó, encore avec Lava Records. ("Andiamó" veut dire "On y va" en italien. Le bassiste du groupe, Jeremy Woods, qui est d'origine italienne, dit souvent cette phrase). L'album comprena aussi un mélange de genres espagnols et portugais. Cet album a pour thème la politique. Comme dans les chanson "Revolution", "A Thousand Years of War", et une reprise de la chanson "Mexican Radio", originalement écrite par Wall of Voodoo (la version qui apparaît sur Andiamó a eu des changements de paroles afin de faire un rapport contre l'invasion de l'Irak en 2003). Le groupe sorti aussi Rhythm And BooZe avec le label Suburban Noise Records.
La chanson "Everyday" apparaît dans le jeu vidéo "Tony Hawk's Underground"
La chanson "Revolution" apparaît sur la compilation Rock Against Bush, Vol. 1 de Fat Wreck Chords et dans le jeu vidéo "MX Vs. ATV Unleashed".
La chanson "Solitude" apparaît sur la compilation Vans Warped Tour 2003

.The Suicides Machines est un groupe de ska-punk influencé par le hardcore formé en 1991, à Detroit au Michigan (États-Unis).
Avant d'avoir signé avec Hollywood Records et SideOneDummy, le groupe a participé à plusieurs compilations indépendantes de ska-punk. Le groupe a actuellement 8 albums à son actif. Royce Nunley quitta le groupe pour former son propre groupe Blueprint 76. Le batteur du groupe Derek Grant quitta aussi le groupe et joua pour plusieurs autres groupes tels que Thoughts of Ionesco, The Vandals (en tant que batteur de remplacement), Face to Face (joua de la guitare pour une tournée) et finalement Alkaline Trio (il est actuellement avec ce groupe)

.Strike Anywhere est un groupe de punk hardcore et punkcore mélodique originaire de Richmond, Virginie et formé en 1999.Ils font partie des groupes de punk engagés et sont souvent cités aux côtés de Propagandhi pour la qualité de leurs textes.Alors que Change Is A Sound offre un son très hardcore, Strike Anywhere a emprunté un sentier plus mélodique sur le dernier album, Exit English : alors que certains fans y voient un pas en avant notable et considèrent cet album comme leur meilleur à ce jour, d'autres regrettent l'agressivité des premiers temps. Ces derniers ont tout particulièrement apprécié la sortie en 2005 de Living In Discontent, compilation de morceaux rares, qui clôt la collaboration entre Strike Anywhere et Jade Tree.Après des débuts sur Jade Tree, Strike Anywhere a signé chez Fat Wreck Chords et ses membres ont enregistré au printemps 2006 leur prochain album avec le producteur Brian McTernan. Cet album sort le 5 septembre 2006 sur Fat et s'intitule Dead FM.
Leur logo, un cercle contenant trois flêches, est un symbole antifasciste.
